All services provided by Simmons Security Services Inc. are designed to address your specific environment, regardless of whether your organization is of a commercial or institutional nature. An unarmed security officer (USO), can be an asset to any kind of company with the training that our officers get at Simmons Security Services Inc. We train our USOs in the classroom and on the job. All of our officers go through the Texas Department of Public Safety, Private Security Bureau level I and II training. We also train them in close-quarter self defense, fire safety, warehouse safety, property inspection, identification of firearms, and crowd control. But most of all, we train them to know their job. We would like you to meet one of our USOs. If you see one around town, just go right up to them and shake their hand—and you will be shaking the hand of a professional Security Officer.

Armed Security Officers (ASO), are the backbone of the security industry. When you need more on-site authority, but not the police, you need an ASO. In the security business, just like in all other businesses, training is the key to success. So at Simmons Security Services Inc., our ASOs are trained by going trough Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau level I, II, and III training. On top of that we also train them in CQSD, OC, ASP, SDSO, public relations, fire safety, first aid, state law, firearm identification, disturbances, emergency response, equipment use, escorting, fire control, inspections, code enforcement, investigations, patrolling techniques, and accident prevention and control. Our ASOs are very proficient. If you ever see one, just stop and watch them for a moment, and you will see just what we do.

The police officers we provide all come from police departments around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. All of our officers are fully licensed with TCLOSE and work full-time for their individual police department. However, to maintain our high standard of service, we provide each officer with additional training specifically regarding the security industry. This training includes access control, property inspection, fire prevention, patrolling techniques, crime prevention, escort duties, alarm systems, and police-security cooperation. The police officers are not employees of Simmons Security Services Inc. Instead, they are contract labor and cannot be told how to do the job or the house rules. However, they are excellent and reputable assets to our company.
